Bastien is designing the largest speculative industrial "big-box" project in the U.S. in Ontario, Calif. Leading the way in the "bigger-box" trend, Bastien's 857,000 s.f. distribution center will open in June of 2001. It is being developed by Western Realco.

Los Angeles Center Studios is the first studio in downtown Los Angeles. It is open for business and booked solid. At Bixel Ave. and 4th St. off the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, LACS is used frequently for feature films and TV shows like The X-Files, The Game, and others.

Raleigh Manhattan Beach Studios, the first studio to be built from scratch in the Los Angeles area in 60 years, is complete. Bastien designed both phases, which have been booked solid (pre-leased, in fact) since opening. The studio is home to Fox's "Ally McBeal" and "The Practice."

Rye Canyon Business Park, the site of the former Lockheed Martin campus in Valencia, was masterplanned by Bastien and Associates, Inc. A number of projects have been built in the development so far, including Lots 20, 21, and 22, now home to Branham Enterprises and several other tenants.

Denver CityLights
This new venue in its beautiful Denver setting rates an "A" grade from the music critics! The project, with lead involvement by Bastien, is located at the Pepsi Center and run by ClearChannel. It is a 5400 seat concert venue with an awesome tensile structure and an incredible view. It sits on 2.1 acres and is approx. 60,000 s.f.

Bastien recently worked with SFX Entertainment on the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, (formerly known as Irvine Amphitheater). Our Director of Architecture, Jim Kier, NCARB, is heading up our live entertainment venue division.
